Convivial Table Dinner at Izakaya Yuzuki

"Japanese Spring"

Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 7pm

Join us for a Japanese dinner experience celebrating spring at Izakaya Yuzuki! Whether you already love the incredible attention to detail, quality and subtle taste differences or are eager to discover the finer points of Japanese cuisine, you will enjoy this evening with owner Yuko Hayashi and Chef Saito Takashi who are planning a special 5-course spring-focused menu for our event:

• Yuzuki’s Tofu with Maldon sea salt

• Obanzai of the Spring

• Egg custard “chawan mushi” with fire fly squid

• Steamed Farmers market vegetables and Crispy Chicken with Tokyo Onion Sauce

• Grilled rice ball with uni and watercress yuzu soy butter sauce

Offering authentic Japanese cuisine Izakaya Yuzuki is the first restaurant in the United States to specialize in food prepared using Koji - a process of natural fermentation that makes food more palatable and easier to digest, with a mild flavor enhanced by naturally-occurring amino acids. Each dish, including the Miso and Tofu, is made in-house daily.

We look forward to sharing this evening with you!

Ticket price includes full dinner, tip, tax and a small donation to Slow Food San Francisco.
